Friday November 2

It is 2-3hour loop trail. Fairly easy first part with steeper middle part. Can get cold to around 10 degrees Celsius in the morning. You can also turn back at any point and not do the entire loop. Or you can just hang around the pine trees :)

Saturday, November 3

Tumi will guide us through a gentle but energizing yoga session. All levels of yoga expereinces are welcome. Limited mats are available, please bring a mat or towel if you can. Also please email Tumi (tumi.johnson@gmail.com) if you are planning to attend.

Travel tips

How to get to Tenerife

There are two airports on Tenerife. Both are fine and similar distance to the wedding venue.

You will probably fly to Tenerife from some major European city (Barcelona, London, Paris,etc). If you have extra time and would like to, you can purchase two separate round tickets (example: between your point of departure and Barcelona AND between Barcelona and Tenerife). That way, you can enjoy a few extra days in the city you would be flying through anyways!

Where to stay

Staying anywhere on the island is cool as the island is relatively small and the road access is good.

If you prefer to stay close to the beach, we recommend somewhere between Los Gigantes and Santa Cruz de Tenerife (the Southwest, Southern, and Eastern coasts).

We will probably stay somewhere relatively close to the wedding venue. The closest small beach village is Puertito de Güímar.

There are definitely more options if you book your accommodations a few months in advance.

Car rental

Car rental is very affordable and we recommend picking up the car from the the airports.

It is not necessary to book this months ahead of time.

If you are not from EU, it is required by law to have also IDP (internatinal driving permit) with you (although rental companies usually rent cars without it).
